• Types of crane inspections & frequency of inspections; daily, OSHA Periodic & OSHA frequent
• Types of rigging and below the hook devices & proper uses.
• Knowing and calculating loads & sling angles
• Understanding crane maintenance & discussing your specific needs.
• Proper crane operation (do’s and don’ts of overhead cranes)
• Crane safety components;  what they do & why they’re important
• Responsibilities of overhead crane operators & equipment owners
• Understanding and using proper hand signals

Written exam, hands on training, and practical exam to follow. Certification granted upon successful course completion.
