The high-density mobile pallet rack storage system utilized a series of rails on which carriages ride to eliminate the fixed forklift aisles between ranges of industrial pallet racks.
How High-Density Mobile Racking Works
The carriages will hold any industrial rack and provide easy access to the pick face of each section by moving the carriages via an electrical motor. Carriages are moved by keypads located on the carriage fronts or remotely by the forklift operator.
Once the access aisle is open wide enough for the lift truck operator to enter the system, the product is then accessed as you would regular pallet rack storage by locating the rack section, beam level, and pallet location for picking or stocking.
