Selective Pallet Racks
The most common racking style, offering versatile single-pallet storage per slot. Selective racks provide easy direct access to every pallet, ideal for fast-moving SKUs and standard warehouse layouts.
Drive-In Pallet Racks
A high-density storage solution that lets forklifts drive directly into the rack structure. Drive-in racks maximize pallet positions by storing many pallets deep per lane (LIFO retrieval), perfect for large quantities of identical products with lower turnover.
Push Back Racks
Gravity-fed, multi-deep racking that allows pallets to “push” each other back on nested carts. Push-back racks combine dense storage (2-5 pallets deep per level) with last-in/first-out access, making efficient use of aisle space for high-volume, multi-SKU storage.
Pallet Flow Racks
Also known as gravity flow racks, these systems use inclined roller lanes to automatically feed pallets forward. Pallet flow racks enable first-in/first-out (FIFO) inventory rotation and high throughput, ideal for time-sensitive goods and fast-moving pallet loads.
Cantilever Racks
Specialized racks with extended arms (no front beams) for storing long or bulky items. Cantilever racks are perfect for lumber, pipes, tubing, sheet metal and other oversized materials that won’t fit on standard pallet racks.
Mobile Pallet Racks
High-density storage on the move. Mobile racking systems place entire rack rows on powered carriages that travel on floor tracks. By eliminating idle aisles, mobile racks can double your storage capacity, and still grant quick access by creating an aisle where and when needed.
Over-Dock Racks
Space-saving pallet storage installed above dock doors or over staging areas. Over-dock rack systems capitalize on typically unused overhead space, allowing you to store extra pallets or overflow inventory without expanding your warehouse footprint.
Double-Deep Racks
Double-deep (or deep-reach) racking stores pallets two-deep per shelf, doubling the storage density of selective racks. Requiring a deep-reach forklift or attachment, this system halves the number of aisles needed while still providing greater selectivity than drive-in racks. Double-deep racks are a smart choice for high-density storage with a balanced mix of selectivity and capacity.
